Founded in 1959, Grace Episcopal School provides an academically challenging and developmentally appropriate education for children in Preschool through Grade 5. Our strong academic program emphasizes the basic tools of learning: reading, writing, and mathematics. The curriculum is varied - rich in music, literature, drama, art, history, science, computers, physical education, and spiritual development all taught in an enriching and nurturing environment. Our students receive personal attention in small classes and learn to be critical thinkers and successful problem solvers.
We invite you to experience how we've shaped a foundational education experience for our students that inspires lifelong learning, as well as spiritual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Join us for one of many opportunities to tour Grace!
One of the best ways to experience Grace is through a personal tour led by our Director of Admissions. Tours are offered between 9:30 and 11:30 am most days. Please contact our Admissions Office for more information by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Classes will be in session and Parent and Student ambassador led tours will be available throughout the morning.
Beginning Tuesday, September 24th, please join Admissions Director, Amanda Hungerford, on a tour of our campus while classes are in session. No reservations are required. Please ring the school office on the key pad to the right of the glass doors and let our office staff know that you are here for the tour. Tours will be available every Tuesday that classes are in session. No tours will be available on 10/8/19, 12/24/19, 12/31/19, or 3/24/20.

Grace Episcopal School graduated the future high school class of 2026. Several of the graduates are "lifers" having been enrolled at Grace since the age of 3 years old (Preschool). The graduates will forge ahead at their new schools by embodying our character keys in their daily lives; compassion, courage, respect, responsibility and honesty. We are pleased to announce our students have been accepted at the following schools for Middle School:
Alexandria Country Day School
The Basilica School of St. Mary
Burgundy Country Day School
Fairfax Level Four Advanced Academic Program
Holton Arms School
Holy Trinity School
St. Rita Catholic School
St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School
"We are so proud of our graduates," says Patti Culbreth, Head of School. "We know they are filled with Grace and ready to face the challenges of middle school as accomplished scholars and young people of character."
