Founded in 1959, Grace Episcopal School provides an academically challenging and developmentally appropriate education for children in Preschool through Grade 5. Our strong academic program emphasizes the basic tools of learning: reading, writing, and mathematics. The curriculum is varied - rich in music, literature, drama, art, history, science, computers, physical education, and spiritual development all taught in an enriching and nurturing environment. Our students receive personal attention in small classes and learn to be critical thinkers and successful problem solvers.
What better way to celebrate your child's birthday at school and build the GES library collection than to buy a book honoring your child?
When you purchase a "birthday book" for your child, you are bestowing a gift on the school in his or her honor that will become a permanent part of the school's library collection.
The book will be read in class on or near your child's birthday, and a bookplate will be placed inside the front cover with his or her name, acknowledging your contribution.
Classes will be in session and reservations are not required. Parent ambassadors will be available throughout the morning to take you on a guided tour of the school.
Beginning Tuesday, September 11th, please join Admissions Director, Amanda Hungerford, on a tour of our campus while classes are in session. No reservations are required. Please ring the school office on the key pad to the right of the glass doors and let our office staff know that you are here for the tour. Tours will be available every Tuesday that classes are in session. No tours will be available on 12/25/18, 1/1/19, or 3/19/19.
Private tours are available upon request. Please contact our Admissions Office for more information.

Grace Episcopal School graduated the future high school class of 2024. Several of the graduates are "lifers" having been enrolled at Grace since the age of 3 years old (Preschool). The graduates will forge ahead at their new schools by embodying our character keys in their daily lives; compassion, courage, respect, responsibility and honesty. We are pleased to announce our students have been accepted at the following schools for Middle School:
Alexandria Country Day School
The Basilica School of St. Mary
Immanual Lutheran School
St. Mary’s School of Piscataway
St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School
Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart
"We are so proud of our graduates," says Patti Culbreth, Head of School. "We know they are filled with Grace and ready to face the challenges of middle school as accomplished scholars and young people of character."
